In many ways it was like my writing. I’d pull stuff out of Deep Dish to tighten it, and promptly add other stuff back in because I felt I’d skimped in some areas. I did some editing of previously finished pages as well as my outline and the result–I’m still 3 pages over.
I did make some progress–I still only have pages 1-10 and 12-15 fully scripted, but I extended the detailed outline another five pages to 11 plus 16-29. I also knocked out some background research, like coming up with a porn star name that hasn’t actually been used before (*much* tougher than I expected).
My day job will be better this coming week, so hopefully I’ll have more time to write. That said, taking stuff out of my life, like the excess hours at the office, only invites more stuff to be put in, like my honey-do list at home. We’ll have to see.
